*smiles warmly* I know not if I have the true talent of an artist but I think my skills should suffice

*disappears briefly and amidst much arguing with the ladies of her chamber doth procure the outfit of a serving wench. She returns this time better suited for getting herself covered in paint*

I do admit I have worn such outfits before my lord. Though many do wish to wear a crown, it doth entertain me greatly to escape such things and be someone else with a more carefree life whenever I have the opportunity.

Such moments are rare , as are moments of sheer light hearted creativity. Therefore, I wudst enjoy this task fully.

...I do hope that is not a much loved shirt my lord for I am in a careless mood and I fear everything within reach of my brush - including you - may get splattered with paints.

*frowns and waves her hand dismissively*

I do fear I have exposed a great gap in my learning. Though I have studied a great many books, learnt a great many languages and have great love for the sea I hath never ventured away from my dear England. My dalliances on board ship were merely delightful sailing trips with land in sight. I have no knowledge of other lands that doth not come from the lips of others.

Do they too display great tapestries on the walls in Egyptian palaces as we do here in England?

And yes they do hang some tapesties in egypt but the true bueaty is the sculpture carved into the walls themselves. I should love to show you but I understand you obligations well. Someday perhaps ... someday

My Lord, I hate Shakespeare. Aside from the fact that he swallows and produces some of Elizabeth's best propaganda, his works doth not make sense!
