| Great Ceasar * contains a laugh*
For5 yourself a soothsayer would be a good fit, both wise and intelligent, but then I could see thou as a bold and brave warrior striking down your enemies with out fear of death for your country

| *Embraces Elizabeth and Sir Nicholas warmly* Alas my fellowe courtiers the hour is late indeed, I should retire to my chambers. *curtseys deeply to all present before coyly smiling to Elizabeth and Sir Nicholas* Tonight hath been most entertaining, Sleep well and God bless all of thou. *summons up her closest ladies before picking up her wintery silver-white skirts and exiting, she is so angelic that one would think instead of walking she was indeed floating* | |

Goodnight to you my Lady, sleep well
*watches her with rapt attention until she is out of view*
Yes My Dear young Bess, play them both!

| Now, Sir Nicholas, I wudst have a proper setting for our little production. But as this is to be a secret we sady cannot command the use of The Globe theatre. So... I have some large canvasses, how art thou with a paintbrush my lord? | |

| *disappears briefly and amidst much arguing with the ladies of her chamber doth procure the outfit of a serving wench. She returns this time better suited for getting herself covered in paint* | |

| *curtsies with a smile*
I do admit I have worn such outfits before my lord. Though many do wish to wear a crown, it doth entertain me greatly to escape such things and be someone else with a more carefree life whenever I have the opportunity.
Such moments are rare , as are moments of sheer light hearted creativity. Therefore, I wudst enjoy this task fully.
...I do hope that is not a much loved shirt my lord for I am in a careless mood and I fear everything within reach of my brush - including you - may get splattered with paints.
*frowns and waves her hand dismissively*
No matter. I am sure that it wudst occupy the ladies of this court happily to embroider you a new one. I shall set them such a task on the morrow. But first, I wudst paint for my Lady Woodville a most marvelous palace.
...hast thou seen Egypt my lord, knowest thou what to paint?

| *blushes slightly and stares at the floor with a sigh*
I do fear I have exposed a great gap in my learning. Though I have studied a great many books, learnt a great many languages and have great love for the sea I hath never ventured away from my dear England. My dalliances on board ship were merely delightful sailing trips with land in sight. I have no knowledge of other lands that doth not come from the lips of others.

| You would dare to bespeckle me with paint my Lady *paints on a look of shock*
*laughs* you first then .... *dips his brush and flings paint at Elizabeth*
There now, now you have to look of a common painter *laughs*
Yes my Dear Bess I have seen Egypt and it is glorious. We shall piant Lady Woodville a palace indeed *begins to arrange canvass and paints*
I shold be glad to take you there someday if you wish ... there or anywhere

| *sighs at the wonder of such ideas*
How I would love to indulge such a fantasy, but I fear for the safety of my realm and have no consort to leave to govern in my place.
*pauses to think*
I didst once proclaim sweet Robyn the Lord Protector of England should I die.
*smirks at the memory of the chaos such a proclamation didst cause among her ministers*
*huffs a little in disgust*
His new shewolfe of a wife wudst sit too gloatingly upon my throne now if I didst leave the court in his hands. Even if I was not held back by matters of state the very thought of that woman back at court would end any pleasure I could take in such a trip.
So... to the more cheery art of painting.
Do they too display great tapestries on the walls in Egyptian palaces as we do here in England?

| *looks down at the paint splattered across her outfit*
The colour is most becomming, think you not?
Hmmm, what colour for thee Sir Nicholas? I think the merry dance Marie hath led you on off late hath paled thine complexion too much.
*knights his cheeks with a blush of paint*
I dub thee a knight of the realm of Egypt.
...thou hast not taught me how to apply thine piratical eyeliner yet Sir Nicholas.

| *laughs* pale am I ?
*runs afinger through the paint on his cheek. *
Oh dear Bess, you realize ... this means war
*approaches her and runs his brush in an X across her bodice*
*smiles with Mischief*
And yes they do hang some tapesties in egypt but the true bueaty is the sculpture carved into the walls themselves. I should love to show you but I understand you obligations well. Someday perhaps ... someday

| My Lord, I hate Shakespeare. Aside from the fact that he swallows and produces some of Elizabeth's best propaganda, his works doth not make sense! | |

| Why? Is it because I'm so stunningly shallow? Does my brain-power pale to Elizabeth's? *Sneers, obviously ready to cause a scene*. | |
