New Background.

We will shortly be blessed with a new background, This time I will be including other figures such as Margaret of Anjou and Elizabeth of York. If anybody, ANYBODY has any suggestions for who should be added then please, PLEASE comment and advise.

But alas Elizabeth, we needst more!

Then cudst we not include some pretty gentlemen of the court?

Master Hilliard's portraits of mine favourites are indeed most fetching. Raleigh, Essex and Master Hilliard himself in particular.

Okay, also. Is Sir Nicholas a real historical character? O_O I was looking him up and found nothing!

Alas Sir Nicholas is not, though I do have larger versions of his two portraits of they wudst be of any help?

The one on the left is certainly Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow *laughs*
The one on the right is most attractive!

Well suited as Sir Nicholas is to the motto of the Italian Renaissance, Hilliard's 'Man Among Flames' seemed a good basis for a new portrait... hence the image on the left.

His wide travels upon the seas meant that the other portrait could be based upon none other but Hilliard's miniature of mine pirate favourite Sir Walter.

Methinks the beauty is entirely down to the man himself and his skill with eyeliner!

...so, he hath the fire and the water. I feel therefore he doth need a lady of earth, air and magicke to fulfil him truly.

*laughs gently*

Oh yes find a portrati of Tom Wyatt and include him!

I like not the giant beardy sketch of Master Wyatt and think him likened to a wizard in the long pointy beard portraits. But there is a miniature now attributed to Holbein which is passable.

...alas my wonderfully talented Hilliard seems never to have had the chance to capture him.
