I have recieved word from my loyal friend and one time suitor to us both, King Frederick of Denmark.

He hath thine husband Bothwell within his care and is well aware of the man's deeds towards mine subject Darnley.

As I hath heard tell of both improper treatments of yourself by this man as well as the high regard and love to which you didst once hold him I feel the matter of his life now lies in your hands. King Frederick awaits your decision whether to return the man to his own lands or to transfer him to imprisonment within Dragsholm Castle.
