With hope that the marriage plans made by myself and my cousin Marie wilt go ahead as planned, here ist the family tree as it shall soon stand:

Impressive! Beautiful job my daughter! When I read a new history book I always start with the pictures in the middle and the family trree(s). Thank thee for this wonderful representation of our ties to each other!

Tis most impressive and shall be a great aid to me, I do get confused on whom is related to whom. Though it seems it is as I have been told ... everyone is related to everyone else in one way or another *laughs*

This is very good Elizabeth. but there a few faults You put Elizy York married to Henry VI and it sort of looks like Elizabeth Howard was her sister..

(have corrected it so that the missing 'I' in Henry VII is no longer AWOL)

...as for Elizabeth of York looking like Elizabeth Howard's sister, there is the traditional broken line to indicate that the line passes beneath another. The only other way of doing it is to have a rediculously huge version.

Is it really nessacary to show Anne's parents? Just because I can't really imagine anyone playing them and they have no other links.

(and if we get a Tom Seymour I may pass out as I don't know how I shall make Jane's brother also the husband of Cat Parr)

Yes, true. What were the other things people wanted my brain hurtsteh too much to re-read. Also, I want to expand the forum to cover all of europe in Tudor times. But I don't really know much about what places were called/which were active etc.

A section for 'new members at court" or something like that would be helpful. So that we can help people settle in. Help them find a good role, how to get started, etc.

Right. I am tempted to give moderation powers to some because what with my GCSE's starting this year (English final school exams) I don't know how much i'll be on.

Proboards is not bad .... never tried any of the others ... I like some of the features on this one though. What problems is it causing for you? Seems to work ok for me most of the time.

I am tempted to take on old Henry lol I dont think I know enough about him to play him correctly though. I would like to take on a "real" role but my knowlegde of most of these people is very limited.

Alot of the essence in a role is simply knowing the character. When I took up Elizabeth Woodville I knew nothing other than her great beauty, elegance and the famous sorcery rumour. By the time I finished reading "The White Queen" I was into my 200th post on that account.

I think you'd make a great Henry.

I personally can not stand what I know of him so I think it would be great fun to play him lol Plus I have seen how the Queens on this forum rip apart each other I can just imagine the stuff poor Henry might have to endure lol


I loved your protrayal of Elizabeth Woodville. But then I love those type of characters, it reminds me more of the old Welsh legends of Arthur and Avalon.

I think alot of people here would still be devoted to Henry. Elizabeth for one, I for another, maybe Anne if she calmed down. I think it would be amazing if you decided to be him!

I suppose I could try, .... I think "Elizabeth" could advise me when needed. And I suppose it is all for fun so even if I do not quite pull it off perfectly it will be forgiven lol
