Help settling in, get your character going!

If anyone wants any help to get going with their character please post here. We can have you introduced to a court and looked after by one of the courtiers until you settle nicely.

Hmm.. no that's the problem... I didn't think of picking a character when I typed my username! I can be Anne Boleyn's cousin!
Or can I pick a real character? Like Mary Boleyn pehaps?

She was, but much later, like right before WWI if memory serves.

Basically all you have to do, is just pick someone, pick a random thread, and start posting!

Mary Boleyn is a fabulous idea for a character as she'd already be known by a lot of the "wives" from court. She's such a well known character that a lot of people will find it easy to interact with her as well.

I can alter your username for you if that's what you've chosen? Then when you log in you use the same password but you just type in "Mary Boleyn" instead of "sophboleyn".

And if you're a bit shy starting off I can introduce you to the other characters in the Boleyn section.

I didn't really think of a character when I chose my username either ... I'd like to be Dorothy Devereux, if she hasn't been spoken for as yet.

When I alter it you'll need to log in with the same password but use "Dorothy Devereux" instead of "Muninn", okay?

Also (on a slightly different subject), do you happen to know of any portraits of Dorothy other than the one of she and her older sister Penelope?

all done. Just needed to make sure you'd seen the message so you knew that your original log in name wouldn't work once I'd changed it.

I don't know of another portrait of her besides the one of the two sisters together. Which is strange as there are quite a lot of the rest of her family dotted about.

I'd thought so too... I guess Penelope got all of the attention, lol.
