Why do weep my love?

For us. For you. For Elizabeth. For Anne. For me.


I weep for us because I love you, but fear your sensitivity.

I fear for you because Richard would destroy you, doing anything he could.

I cry for Elizabeth because no matter how horribly she treated me, you'll always love her.

I cry for Anne because she hates me so much and I've never done a single thing to her.

I weep for me because all of you can affect me so without even trying.

*Bends over and kisses Nicholas on the mouth, savoring the flowery smells which drift off of his body*.

*he kisses her passionately*

Marie ... I love you, so much so I think my heart will burst from it. Perhaps I am too sensitive, it was always a quaility mine, now made worse becaue of what I have become. But please do not fear it.

Elizabeth is my Friend, nothing more ... you do believe that?

Yes, I do. But do you not understand? Your friend locked me up. She jailed me. Imprisoned me. For no reason. And then she blackened my character, or let others do it for her. And now she claims to you her great love for me. But no, I do believe she is only your friend.


And can you see my resisting the urge to make a dirt joke about your love bursting?

Marie I know you feel Elizabeth has wronged you in the past. But I do truly believe she wishes to be at peace with you. These past few months the two of you hath worked together and strengthed both thine realms. I know it may take time to trust her but you shuld continue to try. I think you both will be richer for it.

I can see now how my friendship with her wuldst bother you. But I hath known her for many long years and she hath proven to be my loyal friend. She hath saved my life and I hers more than once.

I strive for a balance between my love and loyality for you and my friendsip with her. To do intent to hurt you, never that.

Yes I do. *Plants a kiss right in the middle of Nicholas' chest and then falls asleep on him*.

*he kisses the top of her head and wraps his arms around her.*

*Marie opens her eyes with mischeif. She lowers herself and down and decides to awaken Nicholas by sticking my tongue into his navel, wondering if he will become so aroused that he'll slit my throat with his sex, or whether he'll squeal like I slipped an ice cube down his back*.

We hath woken in a playful mood this morning *He flashes one of his best cheshire cats grins. He pushes her off him then rolls over to smother her body with his own*

EEEK! Bloody murder *this is screamed in on obviously playful tone*. Long live the Queen, you English savage! Unhand me! *This is all barely intelligible over my manic giggles*.

Savage? *laughs* Ah well, my Queen ... if you truly wish me to unhand you ....

*fiegns as if he is going to get up*

*ugggh wish Marie wouldn't cry for me, although I may give her genuine reason to cry in the future*

*Leaps on top of Nicholas and makes love to him amidst cries of "Englishmen", "Heretic", "Traitor" and "Spy"*,

Why, yes. I think I am. *Is suddenly up and throwing on clothes*. You must teach me *My ladies walk in, see Nicholas naked, nod approvingly and then dress me* how to do *Gulps down half a bottle of scotch while the ladies are tying my stays and talking about Nicholas' manhood* the Volta!

*Nicholas face becomes flushed, he begins to hurriedly dress in the most modest way possible*


The Volta ... indeed, I did promise to teach you. Perhaps we can dance the Volta at our wedding *smiles*

Perhaps. *Slams down a piece of toast and the rest of the bottle of Scotch*. I do know how to dance the tango, do you?

*The ladies look sad and disappointed, but they all have photographic memories and are already drafting letters to the Nobles of the land*.

I'm looking for dresses, do you think Gold? Silver? White? Red? Green? Black? Nothing?

Tango ... I confess I do not but I hath seen it ... a passionate dance *smiles* Perhaps you can teach me the Tango then and I shall teach you Volta.

I know little of dresses, I wuldst vote for nothing *laughs* But for a wedding dress I suppose not. I doth htink you would look devine in green, tis one of my favorite colours. But I think that red suits you more *winks* For a wedding though perhaos gold or silver?

My love, it is morning, wuldst you not find a nice cup of tea perferable to a whole bottle of 50 yr old scotch *grins*

Oh ... I forgot, your English. Scotch will do for me, my little Englishman, but you may have some tea if you like.

Come here *Holds out my arms in a dancing position*.

*Nicholas smiles* very well then my love, have your scotch.

*He crosses the room and approaches her as instructed* Do I get my first lesson now? *he grins*

Yes you do. *Without Nicholas moving Marie spins herself around 3 times very quickly, hooks and unhooks her legs around Nicholas' legs both backwards and forwards and then does the splits. All while Nicholas is just standing there*.

*Marie turns around, puts her hands palm-down on Nicholas' shoulders, lifts herself up into the sky, crosses and uncrosses he legs once each way, spins around and falls slowly down Nicholas' body landing in a heap on the floor, looking at him with my eyes*.

Well, if that didn't stop your heart, I'm divorcing you!

*Nicholas swallows hard, his breathing heavy*

If you keep this up then I shall never learn the Tango ... we shall end up back in bed instead *laughs*
