Thomas kisses her passionately and looks puzzled at her as he sees her making a few steps away.

He asks, surprised, taking her hand in his.

*Catherine, alarmed, shouts in a shrill tone*

*Sweeping round in circles, she collapses to the floor*

He stands up and comes close to her, helping her to stand up.

*Catherine, full of grace, stands up and runs her fingers through her hair*

*Catherine blinks, but shakes Marie from her mind*

If you're just going to sit and lie to me then I'm leaving. I've had enough Thomas. I saw it with my own eyes, and heard it with my own ears. If you can't even admit that to me, then you're not worth it.

Thomas looks down sadly.
