| Mayhaps Marie you wouldn't mind asking thine husband to have quick words with mine husband... so as to... let him know that he may take the lead without fear of a Royal tantrum? Would that be proper? | |

| *Whispers* You wish me to tell Elizabeth, the Queen of England with her Spaniard husband, that I am now the Queen of France? Do you wish to see my hair ripped out? ... Doubtless you are right. And she would more gladly hear it from me than from Walsingham
*Throws a dirty look at Walsingham*
All right, you shall tell Juan and I shall tell Elizabeth.

| All right, I merely wished to call you by your English name.
*As the time slips on, my accent begins to slip into an Franco-Scottish mixture*.
Now, my husband has a matter which he wishes to speak to you of, please do be gentle with him.
*Saunters over to Elizabeth*. Satisfactory?

| Thank-you cousin... and we do thank you for the kind gift to our husband though we do think it hath caused some distress to our bishop.
*Elizabeth motions across at her Bishop who ist seated near the communion table downing what is the last of the communion wine at an unholy pace*
A suitable result we do think and we acknoweldge it as a most rightful jibe toward ourselves following our failure to take thee into our confidance over the wedding.
I must admit, cousin, that your protestations of late did make us fear your reaction to a wedding, and with the King of France at court we decided that no further hesitation could be made.

| His mother was named Barbara. A very fine singer by all accounts. Alas I do not believe that her knew her as he was raised in Spain while she remained in her homeland.
*noticing Marie's seeming discomfort as she atempts to hide her laughter*
..cousin art thou quite well?
