*he takes her hand and leads her to sit with him on a nearby setee. Having her so close but having to keep her at arms length is toruture. He wants more than anything to take her in his arms and hold her, run his fingers through her soft hair while they talk the hours away.*

My mother was the most beautiful woman I have ever seen ... well besides you of course *smiles fondly* She very kind and gentle and much loved by all who knew her. She loved to read, particulary poetry and she played piano most devinely. I am sure it is she who bestowed me my talents, though they are minimal to hers I assure you.

*his eyes sparkle as he speaks of her*

She was also a great teller of tales ... those are some of my fondest memories of childhood. She would tuck me in each night, recounting tales of brave knights or daring pirates. My brother thought them silly but not I. And truth be told the story mattered little. It was that speacial quiet time together, our time.

*smiles dreamily and with out realizing it he takes her hand, entwineing his fingers with hers*

I should like to have little ones of my own to pass the tales on to.

*Rubs Nicholas palm with my thumb*.

Oh she sounds so much like mine own mother. And what was thine father like?

*paused briefly to raise thier entwinded hands to his lips so he can kiss hers*

He was strict, he demanded obiediance, but he was loving in his own way. He too was well liked and respected. My family were shipping Merchants, My Father had many vessals that sailed all over the world bringing back spices, fine cloths and the like. He worked hard but he always made time for us and my Mother, he loved us dearly.

*starts to cry*. How lovely, I never saw my father, he died when I was a week old. What would they think of me?

*smiles fondly*
*seeing them alone for the moment he ventures to lean forward and kiss away a tear*

They would adore you. My Father would find you intellgent, charming, and beautiful. My Mother would love your firey spirt.

*intercepts Nicholas' lips with her own*.

Elizabeth sent me away from her. She said she would rather seen me dead than ruling her Kingdom, you must speak with her.

I know, but if she will not grant us approval in our marriage ... I will gladly relish going against her will, but she is your friend and sovereign. You CANT marry me without her approval.

*tries to fight back the tears that threaten to fill his eyes*

She knows that you can not put me on a throne. She offers us a chance to be happy, to live in love and peace until the end of our days. We can love each other and raise a family and naver have to worry about anyone harming us or our children for greed of a crown.

*ponders how effective her possible aging spells would be but decides against interfearing*

I know. But I can't abandon my people, the Crown my mother died to protect for me, My home the home of all my relatives.

We could always marry without her approval.

Oh nicky, *face softens* this is the first time I've seen you cry.

If I loose you it shall not be the last time you see my tears

Oh Nicky. *Wipes your tears and licks them off of my fingers*. What am I supposed do? I love you so much my heart actually hurts ... *Checks neck to see if you've actually been sucking my blood, and then makes it look like I was just messing with my hair*.

Yes my sweet, I cry blood, your beautiful neck is quite safe *chuckles in spite of himself*

I know not what to do my dearest, I love you more than life itself. A part of me says I shud let you go to find someone who can be what I can not ... but the thought of living with out you ....


I can not make this choice for you, nor do I see a way around it

*breaks down completely*. Nicky PLEASE PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME. PLEASE. GOOD GOD IF YOU LEAVE ME I WILL DRIVE A DAGGER INTO MY BREAST, I SWEAR IT!

I am not going to leave you my love ... I can not, it would break my heart.

*leans over and kisses each of his eyes, and licks the blood of of my lips*.

*pulls her tightly into his arms and doth not give a damn who sees it*
