*Bursts into his chambers, slamming the door open. The door thuds against the wall, swinging shut behind him due to the force that Francis pushed it open with*

*Scream angrily, pulling a large brown case out from underneath his bed. He begins packing clothes into it*

*Calls for a scribe, who quickly arrives. Francis begins talking* Due to the Queen of Scotland falling in love with, and marrying Sir Nicholas of Rhodes her place as Queen of France is no longer valid, unless I state otherwise. Francois II

*Dismisses the scribe, angrily slamming the door behind him, and clambering into his bed. He begins sobbing, pulling a picture of Marie close to him and begins rocking with anguish and sorrow that he has lost his beloved Marie.*

*Walks in to your chambers*. Francois! Are you ill! *Looks horrified*. Do you wish me to summon a physician?

*Clambers out of bed* N-No... *sniffs, wiping nose and tears on his sleeve* N-no... why would you? You do not care for me *Turns away from Marie as a fresh bout of tears spill down his cheeks*

Do not care for you! Francois! *Comes and sits down on the bed next to you*. Come, lay your head on my lap and tell me of these ludicrous ideas!

*Francis rests his head on Marie's lap and continues sobbing silently for a few minutes*

Co... Co...Compose y-yourself, F-Francis, you are a King, you should not be crying... compose yourself...

*Takes a few deep breaths* You obviously love Marie... or else you wouldn't be wearing that necklace of his... I understand when I have lost the battle, M-Marie...

*Francis gets up and begins pacing* If you want to be with him, you are welcome too... I have already signed the warrant that says you are no longer Queen of France should you go to Nicholas.

*Sniffs, before bursting into tears again* I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I c-c-c-cannot l-l-lose y-y-you M-Marie, y-you are a-all I have... my mother and brothers despise me and my sisters are Queens and have left home... *Sniffs again before moving to Marie. Climbing onto the bed, and hugging Marie tightly, sobbing the whole time*
