| Il y a longtemps il y avait une chienne, vieux et laid, qui a tué son belle cousine. La fin. | |

| Well, I think that's quite enough of that little ditty!
*shoves Marie into the corner to take up her needlework*
Thou wert always talented with thine embroidery cousin, perhaps that wudst be a better passtime for us all?!
*sits at the other side of the room incase Marie decides to use her as a pincushion*
Mon dieu, tis so hard to keep the moral upper hand here and be civil to such an ungrateful cousin, currently given the protection of mine household.
Tis it any wonder I sometimes wish to chop off thine pretty little head Marie?!

| *Starts stabbing at needlework so hard that the fabric tears and grits teeth* Yes, I should be so grateful, that my own cousin, my flesh and blood imprisoned me falsely for a crime she knows I didn't commit. What an ungrateful bitch I am *starts shaking with rage and balls up embroidery*. | |

| And yes I always was very good at embroidery, much better than someone else I know, who be more like a man than a woman. | |

| I'll have you know good cousin that I may have the body of a weak and feeble woman but I have the heart and stomach of a concrete elephant!
...somehow that doesn't sound quite right, I may have to work on that a little more.

| Yes dearest, that quote is most terrible, not nearly at your normal level.
While I hath the body of a supermodel I have the heart and stomach of a ... supermodel. ... also doth not sound quite right.

| Well good ladies, I must to my bed. Sir Walter is due to visit on the morrow to teach me all about Tobacco and Potatoes.
I think the introduction of a new passtime such as smoking and new foodstuffs such as chips fried in oil will much improve the variety of the lives of mine subjects and therefore have great positive effect upon their health.

| *Stands resolute and takes in all that is said as he waits to gain a moment to wedge in a word*
My dear Ladies, I have been misjudged, for a player I am not. I simply admire beauty and take great pleasure in being surrounded by such.
*bows humbly before Queen Kateryn Parr*
My Lady forgive me, it was not my intention to offend, though I find it imposssible to believe one of your beauty, grace, and devine faith, should be offended by one such as I.
Queen Marie Stuart *he turns to reguard her with s cold stare* I find your confidence amuseing but your slanderous museings reguarding good Queen Anne and our hostess quite offensive. And if you persists in these efforts I will carry to the stable block myself. While I do enjoy a good jest I deplore rudeness. And I assure you I require not the use of Brothels, nor have I ever.
*turns to Young Bess* With that ugly business behind us ... you were intrested in eyeliner were you not. *grins and tosses her a wink*

| Ahh my good sir Nicholas, it seems we got off on the wrong foot. Did we not? *blushes and holds out hand so you may kiss it* Your comments regarding my beauty, grace and devotion to the true faith are great comofort to me. You seem to be quite a catch, whichever one of these pretty little English roses at court eventually marries you, they will be a very lucky maid indeed! | |

You honor me with such praise, I dare say I dont deserve. Though it pleases me greatly that I now fall under your favor.
I did not come to court seeking a wife, though I have learned long ago one never knows what tresures in life one might find whilst he least expects them.

| Sir, you honour me with your charm and obvious witt. You may not have come to court seeking a wife, but alas there will certainly be many wishing to occupy that post. *looks around for Henry and then lowers tone into a whisper* The one thing this court lacks is good men. *laughs heartily* So tell me, what say you about Religious reform? | |

| Good men indeed *he laughs* I know not makes a good man but I hope to amount to yours and those expectations.
As for religion my Lady, I find it a subject one often must be cautious to speak of, it is one that easilly offends it seems. But you asked of my thoughts and I shall give them freely with the hope that my simple views will not once again plunge me into ill favor.
*takes on a serious and somber expression*
Change is often enevitiable, everyone and everything adapts to the passage of time. However I find that change for the mere sake of change, and manipulating change to suit your own vices is the worst of sins.

You are a very wise man, Sir Nicholas. You would do well to acknowledge that feature and strengthen it. *smiles and looks at the floor* That is a very dashing portrait by the way, Do you happen to be a poet by any chance? There's something about you.. the look of a true Artist.

| as I said it pleases me to be surrounded by beauty. Which must of course include both poetry and art. I have dabbled in both mediums on occasion though I dare say I have any real talent for them other than what pleases myself. So the question "Am I a poet" would have to be answered as a matter of opinon.
*laughs*
I also however have a great love of music, and am quite the pianist.
