I am not a fan of Marie but it wasn't her choice to abidicate, (was it.. :S?)

It is like dominoes. She makes the mistake of marrying Darnley, which leads to his murder, which leads to her imprisonment by her nobels, which leads to abdicating to her infant son, which leads to seeking asylum in England.

Marrying Darnley was brilliant, at the outset. He had a claim to the English throne, wealth, titles. He was handsome, charming and well-educated. Thou art so unfair to me, Anne. Even if you don't like me personally, thou doth not have to be such a raging, lying bitch.

And an abdication made under duress is invalid. And mine was most certainly under duress.
