-You still don't believe me?

Thomas asked.

-How do you want me to prove it then?

She shrugged a little, still looking at him.

- Be creative. Use that big head of yours.

She said, smiling and tapping his head.

- You must have something in there that could be of use.

-Use my head?

Thomas grinned.

-Would a present be helpful?

She smiled at the thought.

- Maybe, it depends what it is!

Thomas pulls out a box from his pocket, opens it , brings his hands around her shoulders and places the necklace on her neck.

Anne touched the necklace with her hand for a moment, a small smile on her face. She then turned to her mirror to get a better view of it.

- Thomas...

She began, her mouth open in awe.

- This is really beautiful, you know. Why did you get this for me?

-Does it have to be any reason to give a present to my lovely little sister in law?

He asked chuckling, looking at her reflection in the mirror.

She looked in the mirror, admiring the necklace silently with her eyes. She pursed her lips for a moment in thought.

- Well, no I suppose you do not need a reason...

She turned to look up at him.

- But don't you have other women to buy gifts for?

Thomas laughed .

-That's good, Anne. Since when are you worried about things like this?

- I'm not worried.

She replied quickly and firmly.

- I'm just curious to see if you bought any other women gifts.

-What If I buy other women gifts?

He asked chuckling.

She crossed her arms for a moment, considering her answer.

- I guess that's up to you, Thomas!

-That's good.

He smiled.

- What do you mean that's good?

She asked, raising her eyebrows.

-That's up to me.

He laughed.

- Well, tell me!

She insisted, furrowing her brow at him.

-Well, you know I like to give presents to the special ladies like you.

He said smiling.

-And I'm not going to flatter you, little sister in law.

- Special ladies?

She asked, wondering to whom the word ladies applied.

- And why will you not flatter me? Are you afraid?

Thomas laughed as he heard her question?

-Afraid?

He asked raising an eyebrow.

-Have you already forgotten our past, Anne?

- I haven't forgotten anything.

She assured him.

- Based on our past however, why won't you flatter me?

-You are such a teaser!

He said running his hand through his hair.

-Well, then I'll show you that I'm not afraid.

He said and came closer to her whispering seductively into her ear.

-You are a special lady.

She smiled to herself for a moment, and then looked up at him.

- Do you really think that?

She asked.

- And I have to admit it's quite fun teasing you.

-I do.

He said winking.

-Yes, your tease is really full of fun.

- Is it fun for you too? Because it's certainly fun for me.

She said, smiling at him. She put a hand on his chest.

- We always have fun, don't we?

Thomas looked into her eyes for a few moments as he felt her hand on his chest.
